REFUND POLICY

At For My Toddler, your satisfaction is our priority. We are committed to offering you quality products for your baby and toddler. However, if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a clear refund policy in compliance with French law.
1. Statutory Right of Withdrawal (14 days)
1.1 Duration of the Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you have a period of 14 calendar days from the receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, subject to conditions.
1.2 How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision by an unambiguous statement using one of the following methods:

You may use the withdrawal form template below, but it is not mandatory.
2. Product Return Conditions
2.1 Product Condition
To be accepted, returned products must be:
- In their original condition
- Unused, unwashed, and unworn
- Complete with all accessories, tags, and original packaging
- In a condition suitable for resale
2.2 Products Excluded from the Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for:
- Products unsealed for hygiene or health protection reasons (teats, opened bottles, opened care products, etc.)
- Personalized or custom-made products
- Products likely to deteriorate or expire quickly
2.3 Return Period
You have 14 days from the notification of your withdrawal to return the products to us, subject to conditions.
2.4 Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs are at your expense, except in the following cases:
- Defective or non-conforming product
- Error on our part in preparing the order
- Product damaged during transport

We recommend using a shipping method with tracking and insurance. For My Toddler cannot be held responsible for packages lost or damaged during return.
3. Refund
3.1 Refund Period
We will process the refund using the same payment method as for the initial transaction, within 30 days from:
- The date of receipt of the returned product, or
- The date of receipt of proof of shipment of the return (if earlier)
3.2 Refund Amount
The refund will include:
- The price of the returned product(s)
- Initial delivery charges (at the cheapest standard rate offered)
The refund will not include:
- Return shipping costs (unless the product is defective or due to an error on our part)
- Express delivery charges if you chose this option
3.3 Reduction in Value
In accordance with Article L221-23 of the French Consumer Code, we may reduce the refund amount if the value of the product has decreased due to handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and proper functioning of the product.
4. Defective or Non-Conforming Products
4.1 Legal Guarantee of Conformity
All our products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity provided for in Articles L217-4 to L217-14 of the French Consumer Code. You have a period of 2 years from the delivery of the goods to take action.
In case of non-conformity, you can request:
- Repair of the product
- Replacement of the product
- Failing that, a price reduction or cancellation of the contract (refund)
4.2 Guarantee Against Hidden Defects
You also benefit from the guarantee against hidden defects provided for in Articles 1641 to 1648 of the French Civil Code, allowing you to return the product for a refund or obtain a price reduction.
4.3 Procedure for Defective Products
If you receive a defective or non-conforming product:
- Contact us immediately at contact@formytoddler.com with photos of the defect
- We will provide you with a prepaid return label
- Return the product in its original packaging
- We will process a free replacement or full refund (product + outbound and return delivery charges)
5. Product Exchange
We do not perform direct exchanges. If you wish to purchase a different product (size, color, model), we invite you to:
- Return the original product for a refund
- Place a new order for the desired product
This procedure ensures faster processing of your request.
6. Damaged Parcel Upon Receipt
If your parcel arrives damaged:
- Refuse the parcel or make detailed written reservations on the carrier's delivery note
- Take photos of the damaged parcel
- Contact us within 48 hours of receipt at contact@formytoddler.com
- We will arrange a free reshipment and a replacement or refund
7. Processing Time
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of its receipt. We will also inform you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If your refund is approved, it will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 30 days.
Time for funds to appear in your account: Depending on your bank, it may take a few additional days for the refund to appear on your statement.
8. Partial Refunds
In certain situations, only partial refunds may be granted:
- Product showing obvious signs of use
- Product returned more than 30 days after receipt
- Product not returned in its original condition
- Product returned without original packaging or accessories
9. Promotional or Sale Items
Promotional or sale items are subject to the same return and refund conditions as regular-priced items, in accordance with French law.
10. Gift Cards
Gift cards are neither refundable nor exchangeable for cash, unless legally required.

Extracts from the French Consumer Code
Article L217-4: The seller delivers goods that conform to the contract and is liable for any non-conformities existing at the time of delivery.
Article L217-12: The action resulting from non-conformity is barred after two years from the delivery of the goods.
Article L221-18: The consumer has a period of fourteen days to exercise their right of withdrawal from a distance contract, without having to give reasons for their decision or incur costs other than those provided for in Articles L. 221-23 to L. 221-25.
